Grants are awarded to qualified applicants that bring in visitors from outside Warrensburg (a minimum of 50+ miles), drive business to Warrensburg lodging establishments, and have a positive economic impact on businesses and attractions. Grant funding is made possible through an allocation of the City of Warrensburg Lodging Tax, which is designated by the Missouri State Statue and the City of Warrensburg Ordinance to fund tourism-related expenses of the WCVB.
